Koala's Room : 0-2 Years
In the Koalas room we strive to provide a warm, relaxed and fun environment for your children to learn and grow.We incorporate creativity through craft and sensory play, fine motor and gross motor development both indoors and outdoors as well as cognitive skill sets through group time and one on one learning. Our program reflects this learning and is available to be viewed within our room at all times. We have a flexible routine in the Koala's room and are able to apply and adapt when necessary for any of your childs wants and needs.
Possum's Room : 2-3 Years
- In the 2-3 years room we encourage children to explore, investigate, make choices, respect nature, be kind to each other and develop their own sense of identity. We aim to give each child foundation skills for their progression into the preschool room. Our Possum room has a flexible based routine which can be adapted to any events or circumstance. We support children through their first days at school and form attachments that provide the children with a sense of belonging within our learning environment.
Joey's Room : 3- 5 Years
In the Joey's room, we are focussed on preparing our children to be life ready. We teach them important self help skills and social skills along with literacy, numeracy and science based skills. During our group times our children explore science or geography and we encourage the children to listen and enage in group settings.
We follow a routine which is felxible but also structured with a Winter and Summer routine.
Throughout your child's time in the Joey's room we provide a school readiness program which prepares your child for the transition to primary school.
Our school readiness program is also based on the EYLF and includes the practice of a range of skills that children commonly learn in Kindergarten, with the intention of easing them into their transition to school and we’ve received positive feedback from many teachers as a result of this program.
